DUMBASS LIFT

Privacy policy

Last updated 23 September 2026
Short version: we store your workouts so you can see them on all your devices. We don't sell anything, don't show ads, and don't track you. You can delete your account and all cloud data from inside the app at any time.

What we store

Without an account, everything stays on your device only.

What we don't do

Where it lives

On your device, and — if you have an account — in Google Firebase (Firestore database and Authentication), which stores it on Google Cloud servers so it syncs between your devices. Only you can read or change your data when signed in.

Why

Only to run the app: keep your history, show your progress, and sync between devices. The legal basis is providing the service you asked for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

How long

Until you delete it. Deleting a workout removes it everywhere. Deleting your account removes your login and every workout stored in the cloud.

Your rights

You can see, export (Profile → Export backup), correct and delete your data yourself in the app. To delete your account: Profile → Delete account. You can also contact us to ask for a copy or deletion, and you may complain to your data protection authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet).

Children

The app is not made for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes and the new version is posted here.
